WHAT IS TRAFFIC SCHOOL?

Traffic School is a program operated by the Clallam County Sheriff's Office to promote safe driving.  The class utilizes a multi-media format with several interactive demonstrations and components.  The class encourages students to ask questions to clarify state driving laws.

The purpose of the school is to provide information on current driving laws, research and traffic safety issues in order to make drivers more aware and knowledgeable about driving safely.

The class consists of five main sections:

    • Impaired Driving
    • Dangers of Speeding
    • Safety Restraints
    • Rules of the Road
    • Defensive Driving

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND?

Individuals wishing to attend traffic school due to a traffic violation, must have the permission of the Court of Jurisdiction.  In Clallam County this would be:

District Court 1

      Clallam County Courthouse, Second Floor

      223 E. 4th Street, Suite 10

      Port Angeles, WA  98362
